art criticism 101 for fuckheads and other less obnoxious fandom residents

after i get off work at 9:30 today i am going to work on an art criticism lesson, with illustrations, for the edification of the general populace.  because, like, there was much snarky and rude point-missing in that recent wank where aja thought the HELLOCROTCH picture of dan radcliffe was child sploitation, and suddenly the hp fandom ran a shortage of high horses from all the people wanting to look down and say 'no one made you look!11!' and also 'kids sit like that all the time so if you found it remotely suggestive you must be a sicko.  like i'm surprised :snif:!!!1'

not that i think it WAS childsploitation.  i mean, it was suggestive, but, i think, not disturbingly so; plus, i don't find suggestive pictures of pubescent people to be disturbing.  he's pubescent, problem solved.  and suggestive is not the same as porn.

now, i'm not open to ANYTHING.  i mean, i won't slash hilary clinton and murphy brown, or nemo and the male seahorse, or ron and harry.  but any pairing that i have written, and almost any pairing that i have recommended, i am open to.

plus today is like the day of SEX.  here i am eating lunch nekkid because it's so hot and i wanted to drape my clothes over the fan so they won't be damp and clingy when i go back to work.  and dude?  EIGHT hours for me.  RFM AND BM!!!! of which more later.  i think they raised the temperature in there by 10 fucking degrees!
