writing, or not, and other stuff

+ i'm not counting the days, but i think it's been a couple of weeks since i've written anything.  i feel antsy about that.  i also feel like i need to get my brain back in order somehow but i don't know what i need to read, or watch, or not read or watch, to be in proper tune for writing mac/danny again.

+ wax and i finished our marathon csi watching that's, uh, technically been going on since (october?)... but with a lot of breaks.  it's my stamina at fault mainly, not wax's.  but anyway, we watched the last half of season three and all of season four in the last couple of weeks and are now totally caught up.  mmmmh everybody on that show, man.  i *almost* don't mind that there's no goddamn decent fic. 

+ i cleaned up the broken links in my star trek recs and arranged them alphabetically and accidentally (*cough*) happened to read a couple of them, and now i feel slightly screwy, head-wise, because the universes of fanon feel a few degrees off the one of canon to me.  and canon on-screen is what i really love--something that's true of few enough fandoms/shows (due south, csi and csi:ny... that might be it).

tea, the nutter, just climbed up on my chest while i was lounging with my feet up and attempting to read some picard/q. she miaowed shrilly, purred violently, patted my shoulder insistently and head-butted my face. when i finally gave in and reached up to pet her she shrieked in outrage, wiggled about as i tried to get her to sit down in my lap, and finally leapt over my shoulder and went to sulk on the kitchen table.

i ran out of room in my ljpics gallery and am unwilling to, like, search out some other method of picture hosting, because lj has an upload client that actually works.  i've deleted most of the csi:ny caps to make room.  but i don't like doing that.  and i think i may have to burn some of the ten zillion screencaps i have on my hd to cd soon.  damn.
