porn makes everything better, including tshirts

yesterday anglepoiselamp, shiroi_chi and mace_m came over to make fannish t-shirts.

actually, for at least two hours while sugar was trying to cut nicky wire's face out of contact paper with mace's exacto knife and i was trying to get a good font, chi and wax talked incessantly about the manic street preachers and war movies in various combinations.

so there was a lot of fucking around, and there may have been some snark on my part, but eventually all the members of the local manics fanclub got their nicky t-shirts with sugar's stencil, and wax made a very "pomo" shirt that says SLOGAN SLOGAN SLOGAN. my two shirts say ENGLISH GAY PORN ARENA and FANGIRLS HAVE MORE FUN, the latter from mace's stencil.

everything came out remarkably well, largely through mace's expert assistance, but perhaps also owing something to the high blood sugar furnished by my cookies and pancakes.

in other news, i broke another glass today, so now we own three drinking glasses. it may be time to hit up that hackman/iitala/arabia store on tavastgatan, cupcake muahahha.

the kitty approves of the four-page scene i wrote last night, even though it's not the scene i intended to write (approaching 19,000 words total, which mark i will probably slightly pass, because the scene i've just started really is the actual last one, barring unforeseen disaster). she's awfully cuddly. a purring kitty is a very nice writing accessory to have.

you know what would be an even nicer accessory right now? one of those d'aim ice creams with the little bits of toffee and the chocolate coating.

i always miss a couple of things when i do the dishes, even if i canvass both rooms first--like always.

i am tickled by the idea that this could say something profound about me.
