usually i hate reality tv, and living in finland (with the tv unplugged) you'd think watching american reality tv would be the last thing i'd do, but
thelionforreal squealed enough about project runway to me that i browsed through the website and eventually downloaded the episodes with torrents. i'm now firmly hooked and am occupying myself with egging her on to write rpf based on the show (confidential to missi: uh, sorry about the sudden flurry of commentspam. i got excited).
but the real point of this post is how i'm a tim gunn fangirl, as is, apparently, just about everyone who watches it. there's this great tim gunn love topic on the twop board which has already shown me two wonderful things: this article and this t-shirt. (on the other hand, it's also caused a lot of eye-rolling, such as when i read the long series of posts by people who were impressed by his use of the phrase "i responded well to", apparently believing he had coined it, several of them taking it upon themselves to explain at length why the phrase is useful. "are the twop boards always like that?" i demanded, and wax said "well, um, ah, yes.")
anyway, that tshirt has moved to the top of my tshirts-i-need list. i'm just glad i read about half of the season 1 recaps (even though i couldn't find any torrents), so i was able to get the reference.
