slashas: project runway and chocolate cake

the more i watch doctor who, the more i like the doctor/rose possibilities.  (i saw jack's two-part intro episode first of all, at sugar's place before christmas, and of course i'm always in favour of threesomes too.) unfortunately, my searches still haven't turned up the good fic yet, but i'm confident that there's got to be at least one good piece out there.

so some of the slashas are coming over today (anybody who can make it to finland that fast is welcome!) to watch project runway and bake a cake.  chi is going to bring me some eggs so that cake can be made.  there's other stuff besides project runway (and the premiere of the english version, project catwalk) if you guys find out you hate it.  so the question is, what time is good?  i'm thinking that, given the cake, we may want to start earlier than 18.  so um?  16, anyone? or if you like, earlier is fine with me, i have nothing to do but take the dog out. it is a cake. 15?

cim-family classic recipes

ever since isilya asked i've been asking my mom periodically for the recipes that were defining for my childhood.  there are still some missing, like the pumpkin bread without which it isn't thanksgiving and the pesto pasta salad that's been her most popular potluck dish since i was about eight.  but i have a bunch here.
