a bit of fuji love

i was feeling restless, but "it's a date!" was the perfect pick-me-up. it's nice that pot episodes are just 22 minutes. it's like a perfect bite-sized morsel of awesomeness. ♥ the theme of this particular post will be "FUJI!"

first of all, the one thing in the hyotei arc that doesn't really fit in with my transports of tezuka/ryoma joy: fuji/taka.

second, fuji being made of awesome in "it's a date!"



fuji's freakiness (as opposed to scariness or hotness) with his eyes open in ep 71 is at a high point, which causes me to wonder idly why i haven't read any painfully serious angsty badfic about how he knows his eyes make him a freak and that's why he keeps them closed all the time. ... okay, actually, i haven't read all that much fuji fic. someone please tell me this exists? please? after all, it's not that big a leap from the fic where his smile is actually the outer manifestation of a phobia-strength terror of revealing anything about his genuine feelings to anyone.
