"this twat should enter the horribly awkward phrasing olympics."

myself, i have a sneaking suspicion it might not seem as funny in the cold light of morning.

dark is rising movie to be completely and totally fucked up, with all main characters american and the personalities and number of all will's siblings exchanged for stupid stereotypes borrowed from... somewhere. link from [livejournal.com profile] kyuuketsukirui.

i lent [livejournal.com profile] shiroi_chi my ipod charger for a trip of indeterminate length and destination probably encompassing mostly poland (krakow) and germany (berlin), only then to discover that [livejournal.com profile] wax_jism's intalling linux on her computer has had the effect of causing her USB 2.0 ports to no longer automatically charge my ipod.

Note.: This story is a sequel to another that I never finished to my satisfaction. The earlier story simply laid out the background, which should be clear from context.

other potential notes along the same lines (which i am told aeslis, at least, would appreciate; she urges me to post them):

  • "note: this story has a sequel which i'm not planning to ever write, and which would be so terrible if i did anyway that you should be glad i didn't. but i won't tell you what it was about."

  • "note: this story was originally conceived as part of a multimedia art project to consist of a three-dimensional book along with music. however, the book was never made and i didn't write the music, not having any musical ability."

  • "note: when i showed this story to my neighbour, she thought it should be formatted in a very small script font with an aged paper effect and decorated like an illuminated manuscript, but the example sketches she showed me were pretty bad, so i've just used black and white and verdana."
