cimorene: cartoony drawing of a woman's head in profile giving dubious side-eye (sproing)
I know this badfic quote is long (original typo: wrong. and it's that too!), but seriously. Read it all. It's like abstract... badfic poetry. Even wax enjoyed it.

This curve that I am so fascinated over, changes from person to person, but from the genders it’s a whole uncharted territory.

A woman’s curve is soft and subtle. Her mounds of flesh pool over it creating hills and valleys for explorers to lose their heads in for hours on end. Their skin is soft, and covers the bones so they are not sharp and puncture, no matter how much you want to bleed from its force. Her bones are less rigid and her body more round. That is probably because her hips are the life bearers of all us. They hold the child, the baby that has not yet been blessed to come into this harsh and cruel world. Those hips cradle the infant before it is ever exposed to human arms. The woman’s curve fills up and is a home away from home. It is distinct and plentiful. It gives life.

A man’s hips on the other hand are hard, cold and empty. They do not give life to anything. They do not cradle something so precious; something that could change mankind. They are raw and sharp and jagged, and not always pretty with clumps of ill exposed hair and patches of dry skin. A man’s hips I should not be attracted to. They are not what I need. They are not going to do me any good. They are a sin; they hold nothing for the world. But I find myself drawn to them. They are empty of life on the inside, but so am I.

I want to be empty together.

I was trying to think of some comment to make about this, but as wax says, it kind of speaks for itself. She did have this picture of Gerard that was the perfect illustration for "I want to be empty together!" where he's looking philosophical and faintly puzzled, but I'm too lazy to upload it, so.

So yesterday my grandpa (the cool park ranger one, not the crazy Libertarian one) e-mailed me about some laser eye surgery he'd had to have and the eyepatch he had to wear, so I emailed him back and was like, "So now you could make a little skull and crossbones and stick it on there and take a picture". AND TODAY HE EMAILS ME THIS.

Heeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaart.
