Wax downloaded this short film. Video clip. Thing. I. Okay, I already loved The Knife, but ... I think I'm a little in love.
When I Found The Knife (about 5 min) and the sequel, When I Found The Knife Again (about 5 and a half min). Two post-modern surreal short films about a rabbit and the mesmerising, magical music made by a pair of monkeys called The Knife. There's a kangaroo mouse and a leopard-print steering wheel cover and a little house made of cardboard and - rabbit. Also, a voiceover. Just. Omg.
(The Knife are a brother-sister electronica duo from Sweden who make their music in English. Pass This On is their best video and catchiest hook.)

Have some free Finnish music.
Zen Café - Piha ilman sadettajaa Finnish rock. The dude has a deep baritone and is beautifully, Finnishly monotonous. Maybe just hearing Finnish!Finnish-sounding singing isn't inherently hilarious if you aren't used to the way conversational Finnish sounds, but it is to me, which makes yet another reason to dig a really great and catchy song. This was their biggest single, according to my better half.
Värttinä - Oi dai A female vocal ensemble who sing Finnish folk music.

(They being My Chemical Romance.)
(As wax and I crack up over the beginning of this sentence...) ...then Gerard should totally be Day of the Dead bread, you know? White dough moulded into a 3D skull and decorated with sugar. Am I right? Or, if it didn't have to actually be baked, a calavera.
On another note entirely: last Finnish musicspam of the day? PMMP - Rusketusraidat. PMMP are the girl punk-pop duo who won the Finnish Grammies this year. This is their first single, and is really awesome although it isn't from their 100% awesome new album.
A note on the subject line: there's a story where Ryan Ross turns into a cupcake. Also a lot of stories where people turn into kittens, pencils, belts, dolls, etc. Look, I don't know, okay?
