random women icons for sharing

Sometimes I think I want to delete all my fandom-related icons and things and upload nothing but icons of women. Pretty much the only thing they have in common is all being of women. Some of it is art (paintings of Ophelia, the biblical Salomé, Serenity cover art, one nsfw naked fairy), some from movies (Cate Blanchett, Keira Knightley), various music (Fiona Apple, Emilie Autumn, Kokia, Tatu, Shakira, Christina Aguilera, Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald, even Ashlee Simpson and Britney), and, among other things, Princess Alexandra of Denmark; Fujii from the J-drama Sapuri; Twiggy; Ursula Andress, the original Bond girl; and a small number of icons from last spring's ITV Austen movies. Wax and I are total losers who a) need therapy and are afraid of talking to receptionists to make appointments and b) want dessert but not enough to wash some bowls to put it in.

Wax's mom was just here and gave me a beautiful golden snow flower necklace, which is my favourite Kalevala piece and just exactly what I was secretly wishing for. She also gave us four glass glögg mugs and a set of red felt sheep coasters that are basically the bees' knees.



bexless wrote me a birthday present too, even though she's been writing it for months and she finished it before today. It's a story where Frank hurts Gerard so he can make him better. Creepy, right? In a fluffy bunny cupcake hilarious comedy way. This is a rec, by the way. She seems to be calling it A Natural Reaction to Rough-housing.
