I got a tiny scratch in the back of my throat from a salmon bone, and it feels like I'm about to get a cold or like I've swallowed a hair AND IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY AAAAAUURRRGGG.

It took me quite a while to find the appropriate boxes, and required comparing notes from Wikipedia, IMDb and Amazon.com/Amazon.co.uk simultaneously. This is because the Region 2 releases are in no way equivalent to the Region 1 (ie 5 episodes per box instead of 60, or something like that, bringing the total episodes available in r2 to like 20, when the total episodes in r1 are in the hundreds). The boxes are all listed as imported at Amazon.de and Amazon.co.uk, but I eventually found them for like half the price at HMV with no such remarks, for some reason (8£ vs 17£/21€).

Every time I listen to a Queen guitar solo, which is a lot because they have been my favourite band since I was about 14 (although they are now tied with kent and Kokia), I crack up because I think about Brian May suddenly finding out ten years later that Freddie was gay and going, "Oh! So that explains all the hot dudes he always had in his dressing room!"

Nice. In the four sentences of plot summary on the back of the St Trinian's dvd, they manage a punctuation error. Proofreading: it is your friend.

There was some confusion over whether I could have healthcare or not after I applied for Finnish social security, because the letter they sent me was all in Finnish. Wax thought it said I couldn't have healthcare even though I could have all 58 other kinds of social support given by the Finnish government, all currently useless, so we trekked into KELA and asked a dude in a little cubicle after only 15 minutes in the waiting area. But he said he would fix my language preference to Swedish in the database and that the letter had actually been intended to convey that I could, in fact, have healthcare. You wouldn't think it would be so very easy to accidentally seem to be saying the exact opposite of what you are, in fact, saying, and it also seems rather counter-productive. But at least I can has a healthcare. Also, I can get the same benefits that make my medicine much cheaper as your average Finnish person.
