do not want
18 Sep 2008 02:55 pmBeloved Finnish confectioner Fazer just released an utterly disgusting flavour of chocolate - milk chocolate with Omar cream "creamy toffee pieces". I barfed a little in my mouth (weird, because D'aim bars and other sources of chocolate with hard toffee are delicious). But on the plus side, I couldn't find any pictures of the candy, but I did find this picture of a Finnish guinea pig (unless it's some other kind of rodent?) named Omar Toffee. Apparently he is called "Toffo" for short.
The side-effect of searching all over the damned internet for one pair of Docs is that you are exposed to a large number of other pairs! And tempted to begin a personal collection. Observe:

The Adina, in taupe, appears to be quite popular in Germany, from the sites where it kept turning up like a distractingly pretty bad penny when I was searching fruitlessly for those mythical Vondas (I've placed an order now so, fingers crossed, and Amazon willing, I will have them soon).
I love how pretty it is and how the styling is a bit gothy but the colour is unexpected (it doesn't even come in black!), how the curlicues cleverly combine with the playful take on pierced wingtip detailing! And the pearly contrast panels. Mmmmm.
But no, I am not going to order them. At least not anytime soon. (But if you want to, try Amazon.com, .co.uk, .de.)
