I've decided not to read any more stories where Gibbs and Tony seduce each other in, under, or around the boat. That shouldn't be hard considering I've pretty much read all of them already, I think - okay, not ALL of them, but pretty much most of them, but it's the principle that counts, because that was just kind of skeezy. Maybe it was because the onscreen chemistry was lacking, or maybe it was just because they never exchanged any dialogue at all without mutually leering, but the whole boat scene was a kind of discordant bow-chicka-bow thing, wasn't it? I'm surprised I didn't have nightmares. Ewwww. Is that like code for 'Wanna see my etchings' now?

  • One of my favourite wall coverings that we own is this Pulp Fiction poster.

    Pulp Fiction poster

It features the beautiful Uma Thurman and hangs centred above the headboard of our bed. The other day I was thinking I wanted to make an icon of it and discovered... that I couldn't find it anywhere online (If you know where I could look, please tell me!). It's kind of rare, apparently. That means that we also can't replace it if we break it, or get a bigger version. So I guess it's time to get it framed, because I love that poster. And then it will be time to borrow someone's cement drill bit so we can hang it in the cinderblock wall in the same place...

  • We bought the original Star Wars trilogy - the un-retouched version - and also the Resident Evil trilogy last week and they both arrived within the last two days. Also we've bought about a shelf's worth of paperbacks in the last two months and the combined effect of paperbacks and the half-shelf of dvds we've purchased since last summer is that we're almost out of bookshelf space again. There's one shelf left, specifically, and then it's time for some more Ivar from Ikea. I think the half-height ones, because it's gonna seem a little crowded if we get more of the 6' variety. The apartment is small. Also, I want a washable sheepskin rug and some teaspoons and upholstery fabric.
