Dad & Tristana health worries
8 Jun 2021 11:17 amMy dad got a pacemaker put in - quite quickly and painlessly - already and was feeling better yesterday and answering emails and the family chat again, so that's a relief. I think they must still be trying to adjust the other medications though, although I didn't get an update on that, if the chemistry was out of whack and his kidney was affected (or just previously depressed?). Anyway, it seems a bit less scary now I guess.
In other health problems, Tristana had diarrhea and then soft stools a few times yesterday, and I was watching her like a hawk yesterday and trying to get her to eat and drink more and we thought she was over it last night when she had a more normal bowel movement but it happened again twice early this morning. It could still be something she managed to eat I guess, but we aren't quite sure what, unless it was some bit of grass she ate outside yesterday morning (or licking the pan we roasted vegetables in? Surely that isn't enough oil to upset her stomach?). She's so tiny, it's extra distressing for her to be sick! And we still haven't recovered from the last vet bill.
