cimorene: Cut paper art of a branch of coral in front of a black circle on blue (coral)
The orchid we bought last Wednesday needed to be repotted because there was visible algae in the pot. It was suffering some root rot, but only lost a few roots, luckily. I washed and sterilized the pot and cut some ventilation slits, then put the orchid back with fresh orchid potting mix.

I mentioned that Wax got a monstera adansonii last week too - the tiny cousin of the giant monstera, monstera deliciosa.

Our giant monstera, Dougie (Doug Jones), is our favorite and largest plant. It's very lanky and skinny though, and Wax has taken to watching plant Youtubers to learn about monstera care lately. She finally decided that she should cut it into multiple pieces, root them, and repot them together, so it has multiple stems and can hopefully be bushier. And maybe not quite as long.
