In medias haircut
19 Sep 2023 08:25 pmI meant all weekend to trim my hair again, to fix the little irregularities from last Monday - in the daylight, on a day off, when I had plenty of time to make sure it was all perfect. But then I kept putting it off until it was already late enough yesterday that I would have been too anxious to concentrate on it.

waxjism thinks I should just tough it out until it grows out, since my head is cold. Cutting more won't make it any warmer, she says.
But it's already less than two centimeters at the longest bits, and less than a centimeter on more than half of my head. So I'm not sure that trimming a bit more to make it all the same length (or closer to all the same length, with the transition neater) will actually make me much colder.
Still, I didn't go straight in and trim it this evening when I came home, because Snookums was feeling poorly - high blood sugar; he barfed - and I wanted to monitor him, and give him a blood test, and cuddle him if he wanted. He's still feeling a little queasy, evidently, so I've been a kitty sofa all evening so far.
