i would have written a lot more today, except i got sidetracked picking out a car for baby!john, the protagonist of the harlequin fic (currently > 14 000 words). 

i got kind of attached to the lamborghini gallardo spyder, which isilya thought was maybe the most expensive convertible on the market.  it has a top speed of 314 mph, dude.  however, she pointed out that there's a waiting list for it and it's not actually legal to drive it on roads, which could cut into its usefulness for, like, driving around.  even if it looks pretty neat (or, uh, bizarre, at least). 

the alfa romeo spider might be the cutest thing ever and i have a certain personal partiality for the BMW 6-series convertible, but in the end, i decided on a porsche 4s cabriolet.

and then i, uh, didn't even mention it by name.  maybe i can work that in later.

hm, i think i looked at all the ones at their website and just picked the one i liked the best. i seem to prefer the slightly larger convertibles to the tiniest and cutest ones overall.

but the official bmw 06 lineup seems to have replaced z3 with z4 (http://www.bmwusa.com/vehicles/Z4/30i/gallery.htm).
