cimorenedid i mention we went to stockmann last night and the swanky grocery department has a whole sushi ingredient shelf - INCLUDING FRESH MISO PASTE?
it would not be an exaggeration to say that my three biggest counter-arguments against moving to finland three years ago were, in order:
i mean, if you went down to ten items or more you'd eventually find my family in there, but i was way more worried about the lack of miso than about them. so anyway - i'm just kicking myself now because i haven't been in the swanky grocery department in over a month and - if i'd gone could i have been eating miso paste in bliss for additional weeks?
mmmmmmmmm. miso, sweet, sweet, miso, how i love and have missed you.
now to figure out how to make my own garlic red pepper miso and my life will probably be complete.
