i was spoiled for the last episode of grey's anatomy, so i'd like to point out to people - although i feel it should not require saying - that it's inconsiderate to reveal the major plot points of tv episodes outside of a cut tag, especially right after they come out and before the people who might be following them have had a chance to watch.

for most of last season, i had this recurrent problem where i almost couldn't stand to watch - too many melodramatic plot points that i couldn't stomach, too many voiceovers (voiceovers are inherently sucky), too many of the characters being too annoying. up through most of the first half of this season i had a hard time putting up with these things, and it had just recently started to ingratiate itself with me again as the funny edged out the drippy and sanctimonious again. i suppose, though, that true colours will show, and that the true colours of this show are drippy and sanctimonious ones.

i'm still pretty happy - i'm loving george, george and callie, addison, alex, addison and alex, addison and callie's friendship, the chief and his hair, and bailey. lately it's even been kind of awesome sometimes. except for killing off the title character. because what?

I've only been spoiled for the one that actually aired. I don't necessarily expect her to stay dead, but at this point she's gone to see the light and at least technically died.
