i'm thinking i'll work on room-decorating a bit this morning, when mom gets back from walking the dog. i have a lovely antique japanese paper lamp from my grandmother--not the globe kind, but a neat elongated one, so we need a light fixture for that, some hooks on the wall for hanging coats and bags, brackets for curtain rods, stuff like that.

we were working on hanging the art in the livingroom, only to discover that our focal-point prints are too large to fit over the mantel and will have to go in the corner instead. now we can't find anything good enough to go over the mantel at all.

life is tough.
