cimorene: cartoony drawing of a woman's head in profile giving dubious side-eye (eyes)

I finally saw Back to the Future, thanks to [livejournal.com profile] anglepoiselamp. So wow, how about that Doc/Marty, huh? The logic was kind of the kind that's not, but I was expecting that. I didn't realise Michael J Fox was... too old for the part? I mean, sure, he looks young, but he still looks young now, as far as I know. He didn't look like a teenager, anyway. His face was too mature - no baby fat. Oh, and after that we watched part of that old TV show that Simon Pegg and Nick Frost did where Simon has a platonic female roommate and Nick is his weapons-obsessed best friend and they're in love. It was much, much cooler than BttF. And obviously also much slashier.

You have so many potential reasons to do that after this entry that I'm not even sure which one you mean...

One shouldn't leave comments immediately after waking up...

The thought of Doc/Marty elicited a strong "Nooooo! My childhood favourite, it is ruined!" reaction in me. Lalala, not listening! They are just very good friends who don't mind the age gap.

But with time travel there doesn't have to be an age gap!!! >:}
