[edit: oh yeah. this is a dream. not such a long one, either, fortunately.]

so mom, dad, me, and my sister were at a quaint icecream shop with my aunt/uncle/cousins. we're talking QUAINT. most of it was outdoors and covered with weird murals, including the parking lot, and there was a v. cute waiter who looked almost exactly like Odo from DS9. but younger. i was in love with him. ok, not really. but i had a crush. and i had a keylime pie icecream. thing. and ooooh, those are v. good.

so anyway, i actually had 2 of them. and then dad and lil left with the aunt/uncle, leaving me and my mom, who promptly turned into a nanny a la mary poppins while i was flirting with odo as opposed to watching, and when i turned around the nanny was conversing with this suspicious-looking character who was a bit older than her, dressed in the kinds of shoes you just knew belonged to a theif. mary poppins didn't believe me, and accepted a ride to memphis from him (??). having failed to convince her, i set about proving it in the car, which made him stutter and change the subject (so, where did you get this car?) and when we left the icecream shop, police cars followed us with sirens because we had not paid for the icecream. finally mary believed it, but we were unable to figure out how to escape from the car. the guy was getting weirder and was clearly a serial killer, by this point. i think the dream ended at a sonic, where he was evidently going to steal some more food, but i don't remember if i got away or not.
