ten hours on the town (okay... six)

As the door was swinging shut behind me today I realised that I'd left my keys inside and there were still like 10 hours left before Wax got off work. I was on my way in to town to definitely not think about rewriting shitty translations from Norwegian by non-native speakers of English who should never have gotten the job at all, let alone in preference to me. So I went ahead and went, and walked all around mostly window-shopping (though I did buy a new pair of sheepskin slippers). I finally had to seek shelter so I hitched a ride to Brother Windows's house for the remaining four hours. So... that happened. Only the second time I've locked myself out when Wax wasn't at home, but nonetheless, perhaps we should invest in a spare key.

Yikes, if only you still lived across the street! :) Since you are now about equidistant from us with Wax's brother's, and they have a car, it made it the best. And Chi wasn't home/answering the phone/idk. Her phone hasn't been turned off again has it?
