From now on, when I have to remind Wax to put on some pants, I'm going to say, "Who do you think you are, Theresa Nielsen Hayden?"

Going to see Changeling and eat at my favourite Italian restaurant in a few hours. Tomorrow, the unemployment office (as it happens, to negotiate the terms of my continued employment at Daycare Did I Honestly Just Hear That Out Loud - a loophole allows Boss Lady to have the government pay my salary as Preparatory Workplace Experience, since I don't have formal educashuns in daycare-work) and taking Lily to the vet.

I just commented on her post (TNH, not Wax) to try to get her to put some names to her accusations, and as it happens, I wasn't wearing pants. (But that's because it's summer over here and really hot, so I've been sitting around in my knickers. I've been pantsless for most of this debate.)

Well, knickers at least count as pants in England, so you could claim you were applying international law. Besides, at least with knickers one can't literally see your ass...

Yes, frequently! We are constant wearers of lounge-wear, but Wax is more warm-blooded, and frequently omits (or forgets) the pants part. Also, in the summer, she never wears pants to lounge in at all! Although she does wear panties, or as vassilissa would say, knickers.
