arashi spam! in: a no arashi's hot pachinko ball + block of styrofoam episode!

this episode will be conducted by Team Crybaby: aiba-chan, with the assistance of jun-in-some-interesting glasses*!

there will also be ohmiya acting married! various substances dipped into liquid nitrogen! how do they act? (and why is ohno putting them in his mouth?) nori put through a paper shredder! pachinko balls heated with a torch! and various appliances powered by a bicycle generator! plus - commentary by cim and elfiepike!





it's... A no arashi! ta-da! jun and aiba have a little platform there made of wooden flat things that represent how many points their team has. the ohmiya team, in contrast, has two little wooden things. their platform is only like six inches off the floor. :X

elfiepike: heee, that's the A no arashi motion-thing, but the way you've captured them they look like they're imitating godzilla XD!
cimness: yes, jun made that A above his head! he is in mid-jump! :D
elfiepike: i just noticed!
cimness: his little foot ♥
elfiepike: and aiba's suit is still flipped up! XD socute!

these suits are what Team Mole (that is, ohmiya) always wear in d no arashi! you may recognise them from the mannequin scavenger hunt episode.

elfiepike: ahahaha, am imagining a d no arashi where the mogura team goes to las vegas and gets married in their suits.
cimness: öfalksjfdö didn't we talk before about them getting married in vegas?
elfiepike: yes
cimness: YES WE DID. BY ELVIS.
elfiepike: but this is slightly more specific! the mogura suits!
cimness: oh, i see. okay.
elfiepike: XD
cimness: i can go with that! i'm in favour!
elfiepike: because they are slightly silly looking but kind of awesome!

elfiepike: "i'm sorry, i have tooo many men. i don't have time for this."
cimness: "i hate to turn anyone down on national tv."
elfiepike: "please don't put me into this position."

   
   


ohmiya are not so sure about the whole dipping-things-in-liquid-nitrogen thing, at first. even when aiba demonstratively dips a leaf of lettuce and then demonstrates how it crumbles in his hand, they seem kind of unimpressed. (of course, when they dip a rubber ball in and then drop it on the floor and it shatters, everyone thinks it's pretty awesome.)
   
   

cimness: nino is kind of really gay sometimes XD
elfiepike: i think that for the most part, though, he's not particularly gay for a japanese guy, all things considered.
elfiepike: but, hee. ♥
cimness: no, he mostly seems normal. i think he's actually just kind of er, overacting his reactions, it just happens to look gay there.
cimness: but perhaps jun has rubbed off on him a bit or something!

   
   

elfiepike: i still love sho going --talk talk ohno's PUTTING SOMETHING IN HIS MOUTH AGAIN

and then ohno's like "umai!" so nino's instantly like: "oh okay, i'll eat some too."

cimness: jun is proof that it isn't possible to become desensitised to aiba's cuteness even through constant exposure!
cimness: he is clearly still touched, sometimes against his will, by the cute!
elfiepike: i think he's wearing those glasses to match the magnifying glass. and YES. i agree XD
cimness: that sounded dirty.
cimness: so did "please don't put me in this position", for that matter. *cough*
elfiepike: XD
cimness: jun's like, "are you guys getting this? he can't even read a card without being adorable enough to melt glass."
elfiepike: XD XD XD
cimness: with a note of fond exasperation.
cimness: "aiba and his compulsive over-adorableness!"

   
   


the first experiment with electricity involves their guest, that tetsuo guy, using the bicycle to generate electricity to turn on the fan and everybody is very impressed.
   


ohno gets the toughest job, making the tv come on! when he finally manages it, we get an ohmiya sk victory celebration - double high fives and then...
   
   


...nino flings himself into ohno's arms.

also, they can't quite seem to stop holding hands afterwards.

and um. this is the o no arashi segment, in which ohno draws a picture combining two photographs. the photographs were a syringe and a temple guardian - or maybe just some random demon statue. but that's not relevant. what IS relevant is the supremely dorky adorable o no arashi uniform. red beret, glasses and lab coat - what ALL artists wear, of course!
