cimorene: cartoony drawing of a woman's head in profile giving dubious side-eye (ouch)

Two pairs of pink and white Puma running shoes, the "Hahmer", a traditional cushioned-sole aerobic shoe and the "Replicat", a lightweight foot-hugging sprinter (the latter is my favoured style, but the first style has its bonuses - they're very comfortable).

In other shoe news, I just ordered these from the UK for [livejournal.com profile] kitten_head's wedding:

I don't like 3+" heels, but the price was right (only £18, under 25 euros counting shipping) and the styling is undeniably gorgeous and wonderfully retro. With that price and those looks, even if I end up having to find another pair for the wedding they'll still've been worth it. For reference, this is the currently projected attendants' dress, but we may settle on something else black and retro.

A UK eBay shoe shop - they have them in all sizes, I think, and in black too.

OMG, those shoes are amazing. I wish I had six feet so I could have three pairs and wear them all.

Even three feet would be enough. You could wear one of each.

Wow, where are those red shoes from?? They are gorgeous. I love the chunky heel and the side bits. So you dare order shoes that you haven't tried on?? I am learning to walk in heels after 47 years upon this earth. Not 3+, though.

Sure, if they only cost 25 bucks! That's ridiculously cheap, so I'm not worried if they're too uncomfortable to wear again. If they're slightly too large or too small, I have people I can give them to. But if they're just a little uncomfortable, well, that's fine for a wedding: I'm sure to take them off in order to dance at the reception, anyway. As for the heel height, I only really have trouble balancing on narrow heels. These look sturdy, so I should be able to walk okay. I don't have to be able to run or climb in my dress shoes. I'd never wear a pair of high heels for anything but a special occasion. Ballet flats are as dressy as I get for day-to-day.

I didn't save a bookmark, but you can just search sellers in the UK for "red courts" - they're in the first page of results, iirc.
