So, I'm experiencing an intense urge to buy multiple snuggly sweaters. It's probably because I'm so anxious and restless and stircrazy and on tenterhooks about getting out of the house again for ~schooling~ again (WHEN? I don't know, because the school has failed to send me the information in the mail. STRESS). So I'm ogling all of these

and leaning towards the long button cardigans and the purple argyle (mainly because the latter is the only one that's made of wool, and cotton sweaters just aren't warm enough for me in the Finnish wintertime), and of course I'm going to buy the vest regardless, as soon as I can. Of course, the fair isle cardigan raises Issues, because it's brown, which doesn't go with black; but do I really need two dark purple sweaters? You can never have too many sweaters in this climate, but that does seem a bit redundant. The fair isle one also comes in a reasonably flattering light grey, but I just kind of like the brown one better. It's more cozy-looking. Oh, and all of these are by H&M LOGG, which is their preppy/casual imprint; the first two for little boys, the next two for little girls, the last for women.

Maybe I should just go buy a giant teddy bear somewhere instead: I really feel like I could use a giant teddy bear right now. And GREAT, now it's thunderstorming! So maybe it's not only hormones to blame for the way I woke up on the verge of tears for no apparent reason and stayed there for three hours until I broke down in a combination rant about gender issues/hormonal crying jag meltdown/panic attack about being forced to make Official Phonecalls.

ETA some shoes because there were an uneven number of pictures and I didn't like that. The boots are Shuh's "Kimono".

I like the purple argyle the best.

do you knit? i keep seeing sweater patterns that wouldn't work for me, but would work for someone like you.

i don't think it's hormones with me, i think it's aftereffects of slightly troubling dreams. (including one where a nasty fat boy hamster was trying to mate with my adorable cute girl hamster and she didn't like it.)

Anything warm and woolie sounds like a win.

Brown does too go with black. Black goes with everything!

You're right, of course :-)

It's funny, I'm non-fashionable by nature and choice, but I really do have opinions on color combinations. Khaki and turquoise: yes. Khaki and light purple: omg no.

I can't decide if the purple argyle is more a Cosmo sweater or a Cathy sweater. Maybe they'd share it? :)
