This is a post of actresses who are so hot that I will willingly watch movies which I fully know will be horrible just to see them. It doesn't necessarily mean I've seen all their movies or anything, because I'm not a complete movie buff, just that if the movie was in front of me I would watch it.

Beware the cut tags, because there are 10-30 large pictures of each actress.



Scarlett Johansson. Always comes to mind first when I think about hot actresses. She's a voluptuous pocket venus and, while she's often dressed all femme fatale, she can go casual and low-makeup on occasion, which is the most alluring. I have actually watched The Nanny Diaries for her sake, and they were horrible. I actually considered paying MONEY for The Island (I didn't, but it's pretty bad that I even considered it, I'd say).
























































Anne Hathaway. I will watch her in pretty much anything, although I'm not quite so dogged about it as to have already watched everything she's done. Plus, ever since The Devil Wears Prada she's kind of a lesbian icon. You know, in fandom at least.






































































Amy Adams. Not exactly my type - not round and squishy enough, I suppose. She's a brilliant actress and has wonderful comedic timing as well as a really, really cute nose and freckles and beautiful hair. It was quite hard to find relatively casual and natural-looking pictures of her, which is sad considering how much better she looks like that.














































Emily Blunt. Not completely my type, but I like that she's not too femme (and omg, the still from Sunshine Cleaning down there with the tats!!!) and her acting is brilliant, which is very sexy.




































Gemma Arterton. She is rather femme, but she's entirely my type in any case. Wow. I especially love the low-makeup ones showcasing slightly tousled sun-kissed hair and freckles. And of course there's the Lesbian Moment with the thigh bruise, which must naturally take pride of place:


























































Then on the other hand there are a couple of actresses whom I will watch in practically any movie (although I am not a great lover of movies so occasionally I even miss ones that I want to see by not getting around to going) even though I don't find them sexually attractive personally. It's more that I want to be them. That would be



Keira Knightley. I'll watch anything with her in it if given the opportunity. I love her chipper smile, her personal style, her comic timing, her wide repertoire of facial expressions. I wouldn't actually want to be Elizabeth Swann because that's way too much adventure. But I definitely wanted her hair in Domino and her sullen 'tude in The Jacket, and everything about her performance in Pride & Prejudice (the stupider modernizations in the script weren't her fault).

Natalie Portman. My favorite idol: style and fashion icon and all-around admired. I don't want to fuck her, I just want to be her! But I'll watch anything she's in and take many, many screencaps. I love her best with short hair.

I prefer those pics but only because they've left off the heavy makeup. I'm generally anti-hair dye.

Heh, and I didn't download any Natalie or Keira yesterday. My "girl-ogling" directory is mostly a randomized assortment of individual pictures that strike me as hot and until yesterday was quite low on actresses, but Keira and Natalie each have a directory with over a hundred pictures on it on my hard drive. I just went through and culled out a few favorites to add to the new pictures last night.

I approve of this post so very, very much. The Devil Wears Prada was on TV here last night and I was just all a-gush over Anne Hathaway (and Meryl Streep), because I forget how beautiful she is. Also with Amy Adams, I love love love her hair in Night at the Museum 2. And Natalie Portman! ♥__♥ I agree with the short hair thing. She looks gorgeous!

Yeah I actually bought DWP for watching when I feel lesbian. One can't rely only on Bend it Like Beckham!

We have remarkably similar taste in women, or at least in actresses...

Not that you ASKED, but I'm feeling lesbian today, so

My taste in real women is similar except I like them to be less skinny! Muscular and athletic is okay, though, but I am drawn to voluptuous. Probably why Scarlett is the top of the list! Also in reality, I either go for total lack of makeup or total scene kid clothes - emo-punk-goth-whatever stuff, which you can see a lot of on the street in these parts. And I'm turned off not only by excessive makeup, but also too-femmey outfits and too-femmey hair, although I think that is more a political hating-gender-norms kind of thing than an actual question of what the hair looks like. My ideal is a combination of pocket venus and baby dyke with zero makeup, men's clothes and hourglass figure, mmmmmmmmmh.
