First day of class went pretty well. Would be great except I failed to make smalltalk or in fact utter a single word to any of the people sitting near me. Well, not counting "Would you like the hole-punch?"

But hey, THIS is the location!



This is the view from the yard of the Hotel Kalkstrand in Pargas, to which the school's offices are attached rather like barnacles (along with a bar, a bemusing fashion store, and a gym).

Taking classes in Pargas sounds pretty nice. I think most people who manage small talk on their first school day do it out of being nervous anyway.

Pargas is such a beautiful town. I wouldn't mind living there!

Agreed! Homophobic!Granny is there, though. So really another place would be more convenient in terms of ... that. Nagu or St Karins.

Unfortunately, when class got out at 8 I was starving, but everything was closed - the only place I could find for food before the bus came was an R-kiosk. I ate a ton of M&M's but it wasn't really ideal. Fast food, people, FAST FOOD.
