Oh, but the Skechers are so pretty. Why don't you like them on your feet? It'd be a shame if they were uncomfortable or something…

Skechers are not particularly comfortable as they are not athletic shoes but "fashion" shoes made to look athletic. I've owned two pairs before and I find them too heavy and solid, not flexible enough in the sole, and the sculpting through the foot somewhat inelegant, especially from directly above - not as streamlined as it should be.
