3. Summary: Brendon’s your regular bad boy. Ryan’s your regular good boy. I wonder what happens when they mix? Oh, and Ryan’s also Brendon’s teacher.



4. Author's Notes: This is a failed attempt at a Valentine's Fic. I am sorry this is fail. I obviously cannot write fluff on my own. T__T



5. Excerpt: He puts the bowl to the side and looks at the cracks between the boards in front of his face. Without moving his head at all, Kris counts six of them, and when he's doubled-checked that number twice he closes his eyes and says out loud, "Adam is gay."

So wtfing at the last one. Maaaaaaybe it makes sense in context (I admit, I am doubtful), but who would think that was a good pull quote!?

Especially because besides how badly written it is, it makes the character look really stupid. How could anyone be surprised about Adam being gay? It's hard to imagine how he could be more out...

There is no end of my hatred for emoticons like `T__T'. They're…incomprehensible!

Japanese emoticons aren't any more incomprehensible than regular ones. All emoticons are just symbols that assume people know the context, and most of the Japanese ones are directly based on the well-established symbolic language of manga-style cartoon faces. In fanons based on Japanese-language canon where they abound, the natural assumption is that the entire community shares the context. Particularly in the Johnny's Entertainment fandom where that header was collected - I doubt a majority of participants are even native English speakers, and most of the canon material that's available isn't even translated out of Japanese.
