Oh good, I'm glad you do too! :) I don't think I've had that style near my feet since the 80s...

LOL, I was only 7 at the end of the 80s and wore red patent Mary Janes or white leather gladiator sandals every day I could. Oh, or brown granny boots. I don't remember actually having any sneakers except Keds until I was at least 12.

I've only owned that type of squishy-sole retro sneakers twice, I think, in 2002 and 2003, and it's just not really me.

Your 80s footwear choice sounds perfectly delightful to me! I can't rly remember what I wore, tho I'm sure I had some maryjanes and some sneakers at some point.

I remember getting hightops in 1990. That was one of the most exciting things that had happened to me ever, at that point, I think.

Hahah! I remember when hightops were cool the first time, though I didn't have them: my first pair were in 2007. :X
