weh. i am itchily undecided, having slept till almost noon after a brief bout with wakefulness this morning. finished story yesterday. i can't submit it anywhere until it's edited, though, and meanwhile i've just spent $100 i couldn't spare. i need to make money. i was going to paint shelves this afternoon, but then bev and dave's plumber called, wanting me to be available to let him into their house this afternoon. i mean, yeah, i did tell them they could give him my phone number, so i suppose i can't bitch about it TOO much, after all. but then again, it's supposed to be second choice and he was supposed to get the work done yesterday, when their neighbors would be free to let him in. so now how am i supposed to do work if i can't leave? i suppose i just should have told him i was going to be busy.

it's also hot in here. maybe i'll go work for my dad tomorrow. screw the plumber. and bev and dave had better be giving me a really big tip.
