More of Melissa's grown-up jelly shoes

Melissa's an entire brand, from somewhere in South America I think, which makes only molded plastic shoes. As you can see, these have an insole and everything, so they're not quite beachwear. I've never worn a pair though.

There was a fad in the early 80s for grown up shoes made out of molded plastic. They were pretty inexpensive, which was great since I loved shoes and was on a budget. I had three pairs of pumps in different colors. :)

Wow, I didn't know that! That's really neat! They were in again, briefly, in the mid-90s but only for children/teenagers. There was a brief period where the glittery sandal-shaped ones were made with a higher heel and worn with socks under them. But at the time I often wished they weren't molded like sandals.
