My only problem is that those look like wet weather boots, and yet alarmingly likely to leak.

The brand is extremely popular for winter boots and I see them worn all over in snow here, so I don't think they are at all likely to leak. But I don't think they look like wet-weather boots particularly, either. I mean, they have suede on them.
