Around here, we call it "Passover"!

Specifically, my friend J makes a flourless, chocolate cake for Passover -- made with Amaretti di Saronno. She doesn't put on the glaze, so as to keep it dairy-free, but serves it with delicious raspberry puree. IT IS THE BEST.

I'm generally used to it in the form of flourless chocolate cake, but as a result of this would not be too shocked by other flourless cakes.

Admittedly, I am more used to seeing flourless cakes in a gluten-free context, but have several good recipes for flourless cake/brownies/etc and enjoy them as a gluten-eating person.

I've made flourless cakes (boiled!) and I'm guessing I represent a different generation -- if it's yummy and easy to make, do it! Of course, gluten free is always a plus :)
