There's a whole pattern with variations that I'm somehow ALL bored with - I'm going to separate elements with brackets:

(already) ((red OR purple) OR angry-looking)) (leaking OR wet) (at the tip) and (slapping against his belly)

Something like that.

HAHAH YES. This whole formulation deserves its own post. That's a very modern sort of description that is going to be very dated in a few years...

To be blunt, wet-at-the-tip use to get ME wet at the tip, so I'm really not speaking from a hater's standpoint! But right now, yeah, in my own reading it's just really really tired. :>

Yeah. I remember when it was novel and exciting! And there's nothing wrong with the image, just the phrase. It's easier to write in familiar phrases, of course.

I totally agree! But then you do run into the problem of... how many ways ARE there to describe gay sex, especially after you've written it 173314 times! I'm still cracking up over all these. Probably because I've used every single one of them.

Well, bless you and thanks. But it IS odd. I think about the time I've spent sitting in front of my computer trying to come up with new and exciting ways to say 'red and leaking' and I just have to laugh my ass off.
