Diamine Red Dragon fountain pen ink on Clairefontaine white paper with Speedball C-4 italic and B-5 dip pen nibs, Hero 616 Doctor fountain pen in extra fine, plus brush and water.
This ink is a beautiful color that’s fascinating to look at and deservedly popular. It performs well in fountain pens, but other people’s reviews online indicate it has a tendency to become gunky with time (I don’t think I’ve had it for long enough yet, and the solution for this is to shake the ink up anyway, same as for shimmer ink).
