A few fun observations from this morning's nonfiction SoMe feeds:

• "my dumb ass" is not the same as "my dumbass" (my dumbass is named Snookums)



• "wanting mac and cheese" is not the same as "wanting Mac and cheese" (Highlander fanfiction?)



• "forebear" is not the same as "forebearer" (although... what would the latter even mean? You're a person who carries stuff and they carried it before you?)



• "charted" is not the same as "chartered"

"Forebearer" sounds like a term from a culture where time loops happen and 'I am my own great-grandmother' is something people need a pithy single-word term to express. :D
