I can't connect the dots, although with Tumblr anything can happen. Pray tell what is so awful for SW fans about gaslighting?

I think it was just that someone brought Star Wars up with a joke comparing Anakin's unexpected kids to the letter, and the Star Wars people were simply concerned with their own fandom first. They might well expect any other fandom to be similarly in danger of upset if the concept of gaslighting was brought up to them.
