Snookums definitely knows the word 'yogurt'

Licking the mostly-clean bowl after a person has eaten it is his favorite treat.

He almost always comes when he's called, but not 100%. Sometimes he's napping and has found a really great spot, or he's having fun doing something and doesn't want to stop... but he does always come if I say I've got yogurt for him.

Oh hey, my little one does that too (on the relatively seldom occasions I have yogurt). Also if I've eaten pasta pesto she loves to lick the bowl it's been in

Yeah, he's attracted to the smells of cheese and olive oil in cooked food but we mostly confiscate the bowls if they've had anything as salty as a pasta and pesto dish in them. Yogurt probably has a bit too much natural sugar for him too, but I guess things just aren't dire enough to cut him off because I'd feel so guilty about it (we both habitually eat yogurt once a day and he has a routine).
