it's POURING rain

cimoreneSo we had to drag all the long planks inside so we can cut them... in the entry hall. We can try and get on with sawing in there, I guess.
We drove to the carpentry mill place where we ordered our shipment of lumber and it's such a pleasant spot. It must be lovely to work there. Both the employees we saw were bald with little goat beards, lol. And we found out who to call to change our locks! (We also need a bunch of new keys to go with them.) Tomorrow perhaps. Wax thinks it's not that urgent but her key is the one we kept because we only had two left after all the contractors didn't return the ones we gave them (or rather Wax's mom gave them so we don't even know how many they have) and the tenant ALSO only has one, so she needs a couple of spares and we have to keep a spare of hers and then we also have to change our side's lock and buy all new keys cut for it. And yes, we DO go everywhere together, but if I can't unlock the door, I'm frequently left outside in the cold and/or wet and/or carrying bags that are heavy for me (she wouldn't find them heavy usually) while Wax is lost in thought or doing something else that it's suddenly occurred to her to do instead of unlocking the door and going inside.
