WE HAVE WATER!
14 Nov 2020 12:45 pmThe sick plumber came as advertised at 9 am and was finished by noon! He turned our water on and also tweaked some stuff. I AM SO GRATEFUL I COULD SCREAM. Which is a new feeling for me! I never associated gratitude with screaming before: you live and learn!
Now I've gotta move all our bathroom stuff and kitchen sink and dishwasher stuff and clean those things so our tenant can take possession.
Is there an endless screaming of joy and relief meme? I can't really think of one right now. We have a shower! We have a washing machine! We have A TOILET ON EACH FLOOR! It's really hard to just move dishes and not run around in circles! I can't even scream because Wax needs the phone for work.
The plumber will come back to look at our radiators when he has some time. It isn't as urgent obviously. Sweet little dude. He speaks the local rural dialect which is the same dialect my wife and her family speak because she grew up here, but so much thicker that I have trouble understanding it at times (though the fact that it's the most familiar accent to me and sounds more comforting and normal than standard Finnish Swedish or standard mainland Swedish does give it a bit of a leg up and help me get the mumbly bits).
