Every year since 2011 Wax and I have picked a quote of the month and written it on the calendar, and then I've collected them and posted them here where I could find them later.
Except last year, when we were undergoing Horrible Renovations, we ended up with THREE 2020 calendars - because both we and Wax's mom got them in the mail free, and she got more than we did - and in the course of moving we ended up eventually hanging up ALL OF THEM, and then they got lost. I still have no idea what happened to the one we used for most of the year (or if it's only one missing or did we accidentally write some of them on the third one too), but I did find one of them just now which yielded:
Jan: I'm super fucking sorry if you can't handle that mankind was set adrift in an absurd world. - Contrapoints
Oct: The damn things overlap
Nov: So we have to deal with it. - Hydraulic Press Channel
Dec: WHAT THE FUCK WHAT THE FUCK WHAT THE FUCK
2019 and earlier
So I assume the December quote is from us, but I don't remember exactly what it was in reference to anymore. A fun little curiosity for future amusement, I guess?
"The damn things overlap" is an eternal classic of course, and Hydraulic Press Channel is always fun. I do wonder what happened to that other calendar though.
