Aaah that's one of my fave of his. I was planning to buy just two yards of very expensive fabric of it in grey tones (probably a modern palette like you described, and not an original one, though) to make my headboard but I changed my mind about the whole headboard architecture later so I did not. Still would have loved that fabric though. sigh.

If you're not feeling snobby, you could probably get a small object with this on it from Redbubble, to tide you over until you figure out what you want to do. I ordered some stickers of Morris patterns in my last batch of stickers, though I haven't figured out what to do with them yet (my computer doesn't have enough empty space that isn't covering a grill!!). But there are other things that are more potentially useful like magnets and coasters and mugs and totebags.

And there are multiple Etsy shops too that make unlicensed stuff - I just got a soft phone case in the same colorway of Pimpernel as this icon. Also I'm pretty sure I saw an actually licensed charging plate for high-end wireless charging phones when I was looking for wallpaper images and it was almost enough to make me wish I'd got a wireless-charging-equipped phone.

But yeah, I sympathize. I don't have close to enough money to have wallpapered in it and it's the wrong style for this house, but I'm still sad about it.

Actually there's a UK company that makes licensed Morris tapestry bags and if they hadn't left the EU I would've probably ordered one by now (even though I also don't need any more bags...).
