so i found a keychain in the desk drawer in the library. 'ahmad tea, london: the world's most exclusive tea.' huh. personally i like twining's. maybe that's plebian. anyway, it's better than class of '96 (which i was decidedly not in--waxlet was, and just look, she's bitter and aging--) so i'm going to put my keys on it. gold (well, brass) with green enamel, very cute. and i love tea. ::drinks some blackcurrant, sun-brewed::

someone please explain to me how avril lavigne can sing 'if you're trying to change me into someone else it's easy to see i'm not down with that' with a straight face.

my freshman year here, my roommate and i had a running joke about rocher. not funny to anyone but us, of course, but we were greatly amused. we had a penchant for watching tv at all random hours, and whenever a rocher commercial would come on and we were both there, i'd turn to her and say loudly with a very bad affectation "rrrrroooocheeeeeeer." and she'd laugh. (we didn't talk much, she's an extremely shy girl, but that at least was fun.) so i put rocher in her stocking when i hung them for christmas. because, you know. how the announcer guy says 'rocher' in the commercial.
