8.5 or 9.
2. How many pairs of shoes do you own?
way more than i actually wear. 3 pr black boots; brown boots; sneakers; 3 pr flipflops; pumps; 4 pr dress sandals; birkenstocks; embroidered canvas chinese mary janes. last year i threw away another, hm, four pairs? (so--fifteen.)
3. What type of shoe do you prefer (boots, sneakers, pumps, etc.)?
sexy ones to look at (strappy kitten heels); flip flops and sneakers to wear. i'm odd like that. i want to own beautiful clothes, but i want to WEAR pajamas.
4. Describe your favorite pair of shoes. Why are they your favorite?
my sneakers. they're aerosoles, styled like bowling shoes but with driving moccasin soles, red and white tweed with red leather trim. they're the cutest thing EVER.
5. What's the most you've spent on one pair of shoes?
the birkenstocks, my widdle babies (which are now, hum, three years old? and barely worn)[edit: barely worn-OUT; i've worn them more than any other three pairs i've ever owned], were about $150. next to that, the most i'll spend while in a sensible frame of mind as opposed to supreme shoe-lust is about $80 (two of the pairs of black boots, for instance, fall in that category).
