cimorenei've had three of the miracle-working strawberry vitamin c drops today and one yesterday, and quite a lot of hot tea. the sore throat isn't going away this time, and my nose just started to run.
conclusion?
cim is Coming Down with Something (and i don't even have anyone to communicate it to!).
so being sick means eating chicken soup. but that, unfortunately, in this house, means washing the saucepan in a sink full of greasy bowls with a perpetually cold sponge and water that takes ten minutes to warm up, and no scouring pad. well, i've had my soup and dumped the bowl and such in the sink, and i'm thinking i won't take another vitamin c drop after all (wouldn't want to choke in my sleep, and i DO want to sleep).
i've spent a personally uneventful evening that has overall been WAY too exciting. i'm feeling more and more my lack of superpowers, too. the list of people to drop-kick is growing mightily.

hollsk now has a car for the concert she wants to go to next wednesday, but as it's made out of cardboard and has no wheels, we're not sure how well it will work. please keep her in your thoughts and prayers, especially when you're thinking about good luck with transportation. thank you.
