cimorenewell, hum. i'm posting from the family's old dinosaur of a computer which *still* somehow has windows 98 for the time being. which includes the rest of the week, actually.
my flight into charlotte yesterday was delayed, so the piece of luggage that was full of gifts for the family got left behind at the connection and was only delivered at--midnight or something last night.
saw cos, of course. aw. harry! cute harry. obvious hints of hermione/ron. annoyed me but didn't piss me off as much as i'd've expected. oh, and dinner at a chinese restaurant buffett thingy. somehow i'd managed to forget the *astonishing* atrocity of their desserts.
we meant to dye mommy's hair last night too but mine consumed all the time. for everyone's reference, when the bleach says not to put it on your scalp, they probably mean it, and they *don't* mean to massage it into your scalp. scalp still slightly ow. we foolishly foiled parts of it to dye it red (plan was to make them black), but it turned out that, in a plot twist belonging in some sort of sitcom, instead of black i'd purchased a dark purpley fuschia, and parts of the red where the foils got in the way are more like, well, orange. anyway, it's streaked all different reds, and astonishingly neon, and much shorter and lighter, cause after mom cut the ends off i stood in front of the mirror with the scissors and hacked at the ends until it was sufficiently uneven to suit me. anyway, i've still a bottle and a half of the red haircolor, and last night we thought we'd need it. i'm no longer thinking that. it would be hard for it to get redder.
another result of all this was going to bed at 3:00 or so, which occurrence was followed by waking a little after 8:00. i'm sleeping in our library, which fills to the brim with sunlight as soon as it possibly can, even with the curtains totally closed.
mommy's hair still to be done today, though she gave up on the streaking, and we're going to have to do a lot of other things (like ::cough:: housecleaning) for the arrival of gay couple #2. distressingly, gay couple #1 had a conflict and will not be coming! i think that for now i've got enough things to worry about. when i was putting the hair lotion in oh, half an hour ago, for instance, my hands came away red. oops. did it say something about 'rinse till it runs clear'? ::walks away whistling::
