Nenya TM has been designed with a matching tracer band, so that the ring can be used as a ladies engagement and wedding set. Nenya TM is available with one or two of these bands, as well as by itself. here.

am pretty sure the design pre-dates the movie. this is not the nenya worn by cate blanchett, which i can't imagine anyone using as a wedding band, but really, who knows? people are nuts.]

1) while driving through podunk western Illinois yesterday, I spotted an adorable little farm with a hand-painted sign saying "Welcome to Rivendell". It made me embarrassingly happy, and I thought of you and Anne.

2) maybe I'm just strange, but with the Tolkein rings-thing... I always thought "and in the darkness bind them" sounded more romantic than threatening. But then, I am somewhat of a freak.

1. ::kisskiss:: does that mean you have your computer back? we were shooting for christmas, and we have, apparently, four scenes to go, two apiece, and wax has Engagements, and it's not going to be by christmas, but maybe in early january. (re the story.)

Eeee, no, computer not back. I've actually been stealing moments here and there on the ancient family beast!computer. Hopefully it will suffice when it comes time to beta, but be warned it won't be very quickly done.
